The Trickster Trailer
This project is an artistic collaboration between Cosmic Construction Co-Directors Bean & Isabel.
The Trickster Trailer is a public sculpture, a mobile workshop and ecology laboratory. A visually compelling, roving artwork which is built using the waste materials from major art institutions and shipping companies across the UK.
The laboratory, a trailer with rain water collection tank, solar panels and earth roof will be built in collaboration with local publics and is design to provoke conversation about how we might collectively build and share strategies for living sustainably, with joy and abundance, in times of ecological and climate crises.
The Trickster Trailer is a space for radical pedagogy, transforming waste, and is design to connect its audiences to land, recycled materials, community and nature.
The trailer was built in collaboration with NEET youths at Fermyn Woods arts and exists to provoke conversation about how we might collectively build and share strategies for living sustainably, with joy and abundance, in times of ecological and climate crises. It is a space for radical pedagogy and is designed to connect its audiences to the land and nature, whilst strengthening community bonds & cohesion.
Following the completion of the trailer build, ‘Fiorino & Ferreira’ completed an initial workshop tour focusing on foraged dyes & the history of the LGBTQIA+ Pride flag to Super Roots (Froome), Creative Quarter (Folkestone), Home Live Art (Hastings) and Kent Wildlife Trust (Romeny Marsh).
